This entire edition of the newsletter will be devoted towards our upcoming First Anniversary Beer Festival. If you haven’t already noticed, we’ve been a little busy around The Lincoln lately, making preparations to ensure that this upcoming Saturday afternoon will be one remembered for years to come! This festival is going to be one heck of a party, and you really, really, REALLY don’t want to miss it. So what exactly is going on, and what are the highlights? Read on!


 

General Information:

What: The Lincoln’s First Anniversary Beer Festival

When: Saturday, July 18th from 3:00 – 11:00 P.M.

Who will be there: Everyone. We aren’t kidding. Everyone.

Where: At the Lincoln, of course!

Cost: $25.99 per person – Each customer will receive a commemorative glass and be allowed to try unlimited samples of over 60 + aged and specialty beers which we have been saving for this very occasion!


 

Live Music!

We will have music playing LIVE on the patio all afternoon!

We will have several live bands playing outside on the patio throughout the course of the day, including:

  • Chip McGuire Band – 3 P.M – 6 P.M. (Folk/Southern Americana)

Food!!

Multiple food trucks will be on hand, so customers can grab lunch and dinner right here! Different types and styles will be available, including Richard Miley’s “Catch 22″(a gastropub located out of Athens, GA) and “Trapp Daddy’s Addiction” catering (barbeque). We are sure that our customers will enjoy these fantastic options!

Games!!!

We will have at least three sets of cornhole boards outside for customers to play with, along with our brand new oversized Jenga pieces and other goodies!

Raffles!

We will be holding a raffle for $5 per ticket, and all proceeds will go to benefit the Snellville Police Explorers Unit! Prizes will include:

  • First Place: A set of four different brewery tours joined by Brad & Tiny
  • Second Place: A complete homebrew kit complete with supplies (an over $200 value)
  • Third Place: A beer basket filled with several outstanding selections, chosen by our very own.

Lincoln merchandise!!

Lincoln “swag” will be for sale, including customized commemorative t-shirts ($20) and hats ($15). These will be presented on a cigar table, where a number of A.J. Fernandez offerings will be specially priced.

Dedicated Taxi service!

We have also arranged our very own “Lincoln uber service” – a van ride which will be available during our event to take customers home safely and securely within a 15 mile radius from our store. Rides can be purchased for $5 per person.

Wednesday, July 15th: Special Mystery Beer! (You’ll just have to come by and check this one out. You won’t be disappointed!)

Thursday, July 16th: Terrapin Liquid Lunch – 7.7% American Porter (BA Rating: 84 – Good)

Friday, July 17th: Anderson Valley Huge Arker – 13.5% Russian Imperial Stout (BA Rating: 90 – Outstanding)

::IMPORTANT NOTE:: We WILL NOT be filling ANY growlers during the day on Saturday. All remaining beer from this event will be available in growlers starting on Sunday, July 19th on a first-come, first-serve basis.
